I’m Jack, a carpenter based in the South West.
I have been working in the Carpentry industry for over 20 years, and its something that I have always known I have wanted to do.
School was never really for me. From a young age, I knew I was better suited to working with my hands and doing something practical.
Carpentry gave me that — and it’s what I’ve stuck with ever since.
Over the years, I’ve built up my experience, my skills, and my understanding of what it means to do a job properly.
I take a lot of pride in my work. I pay attention to the details, and I don’t believe in cutting corners — especially when it comes to things like fire doors, where safety really matters.
I’m someone who believes in being fair, respectful, and honest in everything I do. That means giving clear advice, fair pricing, and treating people and their homes with the respect they deserve.
I also understand that not everyone has had good experiences with tradespeople.
Unfortunately, I’ve seen how easy it is for people — especially the elderly or more vulnerable — to be taken advantage of.
That’s not something I agree with.
I believe people should be treated fairly, spoken to honestly, and never made to feel pressured or unsure about the work they’re having done.
That’s part of the reason I care so much about the work I do — especially when it comes to fire doors.
It’s not just about getting a job done, it’s about knowing it’s been done properly and safely.
